The same name is not the same map
Vice City (2002) is one city, famously split across islands, styled after 1980s Miami. GTA 6’s Vice City sits inside the State of Leonida. Trailers show beaches, downtown towers, suburbs, and wetlands beyond the city. That is a different geographic pitch than the 2002 map. Rockstar has not said the 2026 streets recreate the 2002 layout.
